Who are we and what do we do?
Who?
The Hunter College Pre-health Organization is a club, and like most clubs we are student run. Our club is composed of six board members, President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Event Planner and Social Media Specialist. To be exact our names are Elizabeth, Nayab, David, Jonathan, Hector and Lawrence respectively. We are all Hunter Undergraduates pursuing the field of healthcare just as you are. We are all at various stages of the pre-health track and therefore will try to accommodate the various levels of our pre-health members.
What?
To be frank, our mission statement is as follows, "We aim to provide pre-health students with information & skills necessary to make them strong applicants for pre-health graduate schools. We serve as a conduit between the pre-health students, advisors & administrators of various professional schools to work to build a network & team of students that will benefit the community through various acts & programs". In other words, we are here to create a strong and dedicated pre-health community at Hunter College. We want to make a public, competitive and disconnected pre-health track at Hunter into an interconnected, interdependant and beneficial community for everyone. We hope to make the transition between Undergraduate and Graduate school a rather smooth, supportive and purposeful one. We hope you will benefit your fellows as much as yourselves.
